1. Pick a new subject to learn.
2. Spend a lot on equipment for that subject.
3. Feel bad about spending that much while you’re just a noob at it.
4. Start learning until you can justify your spending.
5. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 until you feel like a pro.
